Hospitalizations continue to decline. There were 80 people with confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Orange County hospitals Monday, four fewer than the previous day.
The OC Health Care Agency reported 46 new cases of the coronavirus, increasing the total number of cases there have been in the county to 254,357, as of Monday, May 10. There were 693 new cases of the coronavirus reported in the past 14 days. No new deaths were reported Monday, keeping the total number of deaths at 5,008. The data on deaths in the county is compiled from death certificates or gathered through the course of case investigations and can take weeks to process.
