Earlier this week, Apple announced Lossless audio coming to Apple Music. While the AirPods product line will be unable to play the format, the HomePod will be able to play it with a software update.
With the recent announcement of Apple Music introducing Dolby Atmos and Lossless Audio, fans were also disappointed to learn that no product in the AirPod line will be able to playback the audio format in any capacity. There is some good news for HomePod and HomePod Mini owners.
