You won't need a TPM to run Windows 11 on certain "special" PCs

For running Windows 11, Microsoft says TPM 2.0 support is necessary due to security reasons. However, in its document, the firm says this criterion, with prior approval, is relaxed for «special» PCs.
When announcing its Windows 11 requirements, Microsoft made it clear that a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip or a Firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) of 2.0 standard is mandatory for running the OS. While the company had initially settled on a slightly more lenient TPM version 1.2, it later changed the requirement list to make TPM 2.
