Detroit Public Schools mandates all students and faculty that they must wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
Detroit Public Schools Community District will require masks for all faculty and students for the upcoming school year. It starts on Sept.7, giving people about a month to prepare for the new announcement. The district will also require all staff to undergo weekly testing for COVID-19 as well, which is another measure to mitigate COVID-19 spread in this new fourth wave of the pandemic.
