For the 11th annual Hopscotch Music Festival, there will be two main stages – City Plaza and Moore Square. Due to COVID-19 concerns, organizers said all official shows at these outdoor stages will operate at 75 percent capacity.
Raleigh, N.C. — Attendees of next month’s Hopscotch Music Festival must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or test negative for the virus before coming, the festival announced Friday. After canceling last year’s festival due to the coronavirus, the downtown Raleigh music festival opted to return this year with a completely outdoor schedule on Sept.9 to 11. “Earlier this year, when we found out that we would be able to produce a festival in 2021, we made the decision to move to a completely outdoor footprint with a reduced capacity in order to present the safest festival possible,” organizers said via social media. “It is with that same goal in mind that we will require full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results to attend Hopscotch Music Festival.
