Costco said it will limit consumers’ purchase of items including toilet paper, paper towels, and bottled water due to supply chain issues and demand generated by the rise of the Delta variant. During the wholesale retailer’s quarterly earnings call Thursday, Costco chief financial officer Richard Galanti cited supply chain issues such as port delays, container shortages and COVID disruptions for the limits on purchases.
