Luke Livingston, Timpanogos (So.) Enjoyed another dominant performance in Week 4 in leading Timpanogos to the easy 63-7 win over Mountain View. The sophomore receiver hauled in seven passes for 154 yards and four touchdowns, upping his season total to 10 receiving touchdowns to go along with his one return TD score. “He’s a kid that bails out our QBs a few times a game. He is a reason we have been able to put up such huge numbers offensively,” said Timpanogos coach Austin Heaps. For the season, Livingston has now caught 20 passes for 595 yards. Hadli Barrera, Mountain Crest (Fr.) As Mountain Crest heads into the second half of the 2021 season it sits atop the 4A rankings with a 6-1 record and the solid contributions of Hadli Barrera has been a big reason why. Last week Barrera poured in three goals to lead Mountain Crest to the 6-1 win over No.2 Sky View. For the season, Barrera has now recorded seven goals and three assists. “Her love for the game of soccer is contagious and it’s so fun watching her play. She is a great teammate and works so hard to be the best player on the field. Thanks Hadli for all your hard work,” said Mountain Crest coach Amber Hyatt. Lucy Perez, Mountain View (Jr.) Has emerged as one of the top outside hitters in Utah and Mountain View has benefitted with a perfect 5-0 start to the season. Last week she led the Bruins to wins over Pleasant Grove and Timpanogos as she recorded a combined 33 kills and seven blocks. For the season she’s got a.327 hitting percentage, averaging 4.7 kills per set. Her hitting percentage ranks first in Utah among 6A/5A players. “Lucy has noticeably improved as a volleyball player in each of the 15 months I’ve had the pleasure of watching her.
