Xiaomi is set to launch its much-awaited Redmi Note 11 series in China this evening. The Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be launched during a virtual event. There is a sense of excitement around the new smartphones as leaks have suggested that Xiaomi may bring several high-end features to the Note series. It did something similar last year by using 120Hz AMOLED display on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max. Even the more affordable Note 10 had an AMOLED display even though with 60Hz refresh rate screen. The Note 10 Pro Max was also equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera, previously seen on only flagship devices. Coming back to the Redmi Note 11 series, this year’s major attraction might be 120W fast charging support. Xiaomi has nearly confirmed that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will have support for 120W fast charging. Even the flagship Mi 11 Ultra supported only 67W fast charging. You can also expect improvements in performance, camera capabilities, and other key areas. It will also be interesting to see if Xiaomi increases the prices of these phones as compared to previous generation devices, given the improvements.
