Following Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, Sony’s next first-party game to shed PlayStation exclusivity has been confirmed to be God of War, the Santa Monica Studio-developed title from 2018. Announced on the PlayStation Blog today, the critically acclaimed game is breaching the new platform on January 14, 2022. Pre-orders are already available for $49.99. While the full slate of improvements the God of War PC port will feature was not detailed today, higher resolution shadows, as well as improvements to screen space reflections and ambient occlusion (GTAO and SSDO), were confirmed.
