Microsoft Releases Out-of-Band Windows 11 Update KB5008295

New update supposed to resolve Snipping Tool bug
Microsoft has just announced that it’s releasing an out-of-band update for Windows 11 devices in order to address a bug breaking down apps like Snipping Tool. The issue was originally confirmed a few days ago when the company confirmed it was all caused due to an expired certificate. Microsoft also revealed that several other OS components were impacted, including the Touch Keyboard. The new update lands at KB5008295, and It’s available via Windows Update today. It will be downloaded automatically on all Windows 11 devices. “Microsoft is releasing an Out-of-band (OOB) update (KB5008295) today, November 5,2021, to completely resolve a set of issues affecting the Snipping Tool, Touch Keyboard, some built-in apps and S Mode on Windows 11.
