NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Key to NYC program expands to a new age group Tuesday. At least one dose of a COVID vaccine is now required for children as young as five years old at indoor dining and entertainment venues. New York adults are used to showing their vaccine cards to get into most places around the city. But now, families with younger kids will have to start doing the same. “I do think it’s a good idea for kids to get it,” 11-year-old Ethan Harry told CBS2. “Even if it’s not perfect, it’s still going to help you a lot.
