Realme is probably looking to spoil Motorola’s plans for becoming the world’s first brand with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone and this event may be all about that.
Realme has announced that it is holding an event on December 9 and it will be about the upcoming flagship GT 2 Pro. The company shared a poster on Weibo to tease the event, but it did not say whether this event would be a launch announcement or the launch itself. If the latter is what Realme has planned, the company may be looking to go neck and neck with Motorola, which will launch its Motorola Edge X30 flagship on December 9. But a launch is unlikely to take place on December 9. That is because Realme usually starts teasing the phone at least two weeks ahead of the launch. With December 9 right around the corner, Realme has not shared much about the phone yet.
