Amid a rapid rise in Covid-19 cases in New York, Saturday Night Live said Saturday it will put on its final episode of the year without a live audience and limit the number of cast and crew present for the show. New York State reported 21,908 positive cases of Covid-19 on Friday, the highest daily number of infections since the pandemic hit, breaking the daily record it had set the day before.
