WhatsApp has announced a major update for the new disappearing messages, now allowing users to enable them by default for all new chats. In other words, if you want the disappearing messages to be active in all your conversations, you no longer have to enable them manually per each chat. However, your contacts are still notified the disappearing messages feature is activated when you send the first message. “WhatsApp users will now have the option to turn on disappearing messages by default for all new chats. When enabled, all new one-on-one chats you or another person start will be set to disappear at your chosen duration, and we’ve added a new option when creating a group chat that lets you turn it on for groups you create.
