Two pedestrians were killed in two collisions in Montgomery County, Maryland, Monday night. Montgomery County police say the first crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. near New Hampshire Avenue and Elton Road in Hillandale. The driver was traveling southbound on New Hampshire Avenue, approaching Elton Road, when he struck a 70-year-old man from Adelphi, Montgomery County police said.
