The Oscars will have a host once again. After three years of completely host-less ceremonies, the Academy Awards will return to form with the 2022 edition, ABC has announced. The program, which is set to air March 27 on ABC, has yet to announce the lucky (?) performer at this point in time. Craig Erwich, president, Hulu Originals & ABC Entertainment, announced the Oscars news earlier this morning during ABC’s portion of the winter TCA virtual press tour. He didn’t even elaborate on which sector of the entertainment industry the host could be from: “It might be me,” he quipped before tossing the power over to Oscars executive producer Will Packer.
