Billie Eilish could very well become the third musician to win the Best Pop Vocal Album more than once.
Going into the 2022 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish is tied with Olivia Rodrigo for the fifth-most nominations, as both women landed seven chances to win some gold. The two stars are both vying for some of the top prizes, and they’re up against one another in several fields, many of which Eilish has already won. There is one in particular that stands out for the 20-year-old singer-songwriter, and if she comes out on top again, she’ll make history and tie two of the best who have ever done it. Eilish is currently nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for her release Happier Than Ever. The title is her sophomore full-length, and it marks her second time competing for the category, which is known as one of the most competitive at the biggest award ceremony in the music world. The beloved alt-pop superstar won the trophy back in 2020 with her debut release When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? That set beat out popular efforts by the likes of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé, and it made her one of the youngest Grammy champions ever.
