There’s a powerful new Mac, a big ass Studio Display screen, a budget smartphone, and an iPhone in green.
Apple hosted its “Peak Performance” live-stream event and revealed a whole host of new products aimed at creators and those living on a budget. There were also some smaller announcements for folks who can’t get enough of their Apple TV+ subscriptions, plus a new highly anticipated phone color for iPhone users. The i Phone SE has been updated to include 5G connectivity, along with the best parts of the iPhone 13’s capable camera system. The iPad Air also got a refresh and a new set of specs, all at a price point that rivals Android’s best mid-range tablets. And if you miss smaller, pocketable phones, this 4.7-inch delight, available in three colors, might be more to your liking among all the honkers out there. The iPhone SE 5G starts at $430. If you’re thinking about getting a new tablet, you’re probably considering an iPad. Apple packed the new one with the MacBook’s M1 chip. And while the same processor is already in the iPad Pro, you’ll probably like this one’s price point a little better.
