Three people were killed and six others were wounded, reportedly including children, in a sick stabbing spree at a kindergarten in southern China Wednesday — with chilling photos capturing the masked suspect calmly walking away from the scene of the slaughter.
The deadly rampage took place at the private Children’s Home kindergarten in the province of Jiangxi at around 10 a.m. local time. Police were still searching for the perpetrator hours later.
Cops described the suspect in a brief statement as a “gangster wearing a cap and mask.” He was identified as 48-year-old Liu Xiaohui, a resident of Anfu county, according to reporting by South China Morning Post.
Images from a surveillance video showed the wanted man dressed in a light-colored button-down shirt, pants and sneakers, a black baseball cap and a blue surgical mask, and carrying a dark bag.
