Elon Musk was replying to a fan’s tweet summarising the highlights of his initial $44 billion offer to buy Twitter. Musk has backed out of the deal as he believes Twitter did not reveal correct data.
Elon Musk is provoking Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal (yet again), but this time to a “public debate” over fake accounts on the platform. In multiple tweets, the billionaire Tesla CEO claimed that the social media company’s method of estimating spam bots and accounts is flawed, even “materially false”. Musk was replying to a fan’s tweet summarising the highlights of his initial $44 billion offer to buy Twitter. He later backed out of the deal and is currently facing a lawsuit. Recently, the billionaire counter-sued the platform for reasons unknown as the filing is still confidential.
