Jets’ C.J. Uzomah OK with lack of targets: ‘We’re winning’

Elijah Moore is not the only Jets weapon who has not had as many passes thrown his way as expected this season. Tight end C.J. Uzomah also has been targeted just five times. But you won’t hear Uzomah demanding a trade or even complaining.
“We’re winning,” Uzomah said. “[Shoot], I’ll do whatever it takes to win. I don’t care what it is. I’ll be an equipment guy if it helps us win.”
Though Uzomah has just five catches for 34 yards in five games played this season, he is contributing in other ways. He had two huge blocks against the Packers. He gave Zach Wilson the edge with a cut block on Green Bay linebacker Kingsley Enagbare that allowed the quarterback to roll out and throw a 41-yard pass to Corey Davis.
