Alanis Morissette revealed why she pulled out of a Rock & Roll Hall of fame performance with superstar Olivia Rodrigo.
Morissette — who participated in rehearsals for the show right up until the day before — said through an Instagram story on Monday that she dropped out due to sexism.
The 48-year-old singer seemed to indicate problems with the production team and that the experience was in contrast to “countless incredible experiences with production teams with all genders throughout my life.”
Several sources inside the production claimed that both Rodrigo and Morissette “struggled with the song” during rehearsals, which led to an argument and the walkout.
