An explosion rocked a busy street Sunday in Istanbul, killing six and wounding dozens more in what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called a “treacherous attack.”
Turkish officials promised a full investigation into the blast on Istanbul’s Istiklal Avenue. Video footage posted on social media showed flames erupting after a loud bang, followed by the arrival of fire trucks, ambulances and police cars.
