Content analysis system scans data stored on its Creative Cloud services
Adobe automatically analyzes user content stored on its Creative Cloud services to train AI algorithms unless people opt-out of the service.
The Krita Foundation, an independent non-profit group building open-source graphics software for artists, raised concerns about the policy this week. In the privacy and personal data account settings, Adobe states «[it] may analyze your content using techniques such as machine learning (e.g, for pattern recognition) to develop and improve [its] products and services.» Users automatically allow Adobe access to their data unless they opt-out of the service.

A closer look at the company’s Content Analysis FAQ shows the rule was updated last year in August, and applies to images, audio, videos, text or documents that are stored on its cloud servers.
