Apple Trims Trade-In Values on iPhones, Apple Watches

If you’re trading in an Apple device, several models will get you less money than last year, although a few MacBooks went up in value. See what your device is worth.
Looking to trade in your Apple device to save on a new iPhone, Mac, or Apple Watch? You may get less than expected, as Apple has quietly reduced the trade-in value of select devices by $5 to $80, MacRumors reports.
Newer iPhones saw the biggest cuts, with an $80 reduction on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Apple also lowered the trade-in value on most other iPhones to the tune of $10 to $50. For example, the iPhone 7 Plus now gets you $50 instead of $60.
Apple also shaved $5 to $10 off here and there on Apple Watches, bringing the first-gen Apple Watch SE, for example, down to $65 from $70.
