A tense moment between the newlyweds at the Grammys was caught on camera as the actor looked like he wished he had stayed home
Jennifer Lopez may be wishing she’d left Ben Affleck at home Sunday night, given the way he appeared to upset her at the 2023 Grammys with something he whispered in her ear, and he generated countless memes by looking bored, exhausted or miserable the rest of the evening.
The initial tense exchange between the newlyweds showed Affleck saying something in his new wife’s ear, as the show’s host, Trevor Noah, sat next to her. Whatever the actor whispered, Lopez jerked away and appear to snap something at him in response. Affleck, 50, then frowned and straightened his vest and posture, as it dawned on him that the awkward moment was caught on camera.
Lopez, 53, made her expression go blank as she, too, realized that whatever passed between them was likely to end up on social media. The image-conscious actor and singer then tried to make it appear that she was engaged in the excitement around her as she turned to Noah.
