Citing an internal presentation, The Financial Times (via news agency Reuters) reported that Google plans to introduce AI into the ad business over the coming months to create «novel» advertisements. Generative AI technology relies on past data to create content such as texts, photos and videos. Google is purportedly looking at creating ads with this technology as advertisements are a combination of images, texts and videos.
