Google warns that AI tools should not be fed information that you would not want made public.
AI tools like ChatGPT are rolling out in droves, helping people write code, generate art, or to do more menial tasks like writing basic emails or papers, even though the latter rasies some ethical questions. Regardless, AI has become increasingly useful in day-to-day life, though that is not without its drawbacks, and Alphabet, the parent of Google, seemingly recognizes that fact. Subsequently, the company is warning its employees about how they use chatbots, including its own Bard.
Earlier this week reports that Alphabet was warning its employees about AI chatbots made the rounds. It was said that the Mountain View-based company had begun to warn its employees about entering confidential information into AI chatbots with respect to policies on protecting company information.
