Julius Randle’s ankle injury that limited him at the end of the regular season and playoffs required a procedure.
He had arthroscopic surgery on that left ankle Friday, according to ESPN, and the recovery timeline will reportedly allow for him to start basketball activities in the summer and participate in training camp.
Randle’s initial injury occurred during a March 29 regular-season game against the Heat.
Late in the first half, he jumped for a rebound following a 3-point attempt and collected the defensive rebound, but he landed on Bam Adebayo’s foot and proceeded to exit the game with what the team deemed a sprained ankle.
