Apple natively doesn’t support Google Messages RCS since iMessage offers all the same features.
The Beeper app supports 15 chat platforms, including Google Messages with RCS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, Messenger, Telegram, Instagram and more.
iPhone users can now benefit from the RCS feature through Beeper to communicate with their Android-using friends and family.
RCS support for iPhones worldwide has become a reality all thanks to message-consolidating app, Beeper. The new app supports 15 chat platforms, including Google Messages with RCS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, Messenger, Telegram, Instagram and more. While Google has been pushing the Cupertino giant to integrate RCS into iPhones for quite some time, Apple has been putting it off since iMessage supports all the features that RCS offers.
Beeper recently updated its official changelog page to show that the app now supports Google Messages + RCS.
iPhone users can now benefit from the RCS feature to communicate with their Android-using friends and family.
This makes Beeper the first RCS chat app for iPhone.
However, makers warn that the feature is still in the beta phase with some know issues but is ready for day-to-day usage.
