A social account linked to pop star Lizzo is responding to allegations that the star created a hostile and harassing work environment for three former members of her dance team, who earlier this week filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. In part, the four-swipe statement posted on Lizzo’s Instagram account describes the alleged experiences of some former employees as “sensationalized stories” from “former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”
“These last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing,” states the post. “Usually I choose not to response to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound, and too outrageous to not be addressed.
