Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new option for users to report channels, according to a report by WABetaInfo. Hints about the feature were discovered in the messaging app’s latest beta update. It is expected that the forthcoming tool will enable users to obtain reports on channels they have followed, with metadata for any channels they have created also included.

Recently, the company started testing a new interface for call notifications and is developing a new email-based security feature for user protection. Now, the company is reportedly working on an option which will allow users to report Channels. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the option was discovered in the latest update in WhatsApp’s Google Play Beta Program.
