Apple CEO, Tim Cook, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 during a recent interview. He expressed his desire for Apple to be a role model and demonstrate that going carbon neutral can be profitable. Apple has already made progress towards its climate goals by ending the use of leather in its products and replacing it with a new textile made from recycled content. In addition to its 2030 goal, Apple is also aiming for a 90% reduction in emissions by 2050.
Apple surprised everyone with the Mother Earth ad during the recent 15 series launch event. The ad in which too played a role has gone viral. The ad had portrayed Mother Nature sitting at a meeting with the Apple team discussing its commitment to achieving by 2030.
