Apple Loses Bid to Delay Apple Watch Ban

The International Trade Commission has denied Apple’s request to delay an Apple Watch ban.
The ITC recently ruled against Apple in a patent dispute that will force the company to take the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 off store shelves by next week. Apple knew this might happen, and in preparation, it announced plans to stop selling both models starting Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. ET online and in Apple Stores effective Dec. 24.
Apple requested a delay to the ban as it appealed the decision. But the ITC on Wednesday denied that request, as noted by The Verge.
The dispute stems from the smartwatches‘ blood oxygen sensors.
