The European Commission, under the Digital Services Act (DSA), has issued a deadline of December 22 for Meta to provide comprehensive details on its measures.

In October, the European Commission initiated the first request seeking information from Meta Platforms on measures taken to counter the spread of terrorist and violent content. 
Subsequently, a second request was made last month, focusing specifically on measures implemented to protect minors. 
The regulatory scrutiny highlights the EU’s commitment to ensuring that tech giants fulfill their responsibilities in policing illegal and harmful content on their platforms.
