Samsung officially announces rollout of One UI 6.1 with AI to Galaxy S23 / Tab S9 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 beginning on 3/28
Samsung has officially announced that the rollout of One UI 6.1 to a select few older Galaxy devices, as promised earlier this year, will begin on March 28th. This means that in a matter of days, millions of Galaxy device owners will gain access to the suite of AI-powered features that debuted on the Galaxy S24 series.
The announcement follows a string of rumors and leaks on the exact date the rollout would begin. We knew from the original announcement, back in February, that it would take place by the end of March — and now we know for sure. The rollout will target a broad range of devices, including:
Smartphones: Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5
Tablets: Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S9 WiFi
You can expect the update to hit your device in the U.S. if you bought it directly from Samsung.
