If you have already watched Fallout, you surely will be asking yourself: will this crazy show return for a second season? Amazon didn’t keep viewers in suspense for long, as just a week after the series premiere it gave the green light to a sequel.
Many fans of the Fallout games were worried about whether the Amazon Prime Video series would capture the spirit of the original. As it turned out, the show’s creators were up to the task. They took viewers on a fascinating journey through a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger and surprises alike.

Amazon renewed Fallout for a second season but hasn’t set a premiere date yet. However, based on the production schedule for season 1, we’ll try to predict when season 2 may drop on Prime Video.
Amazon announced Fallout series in July 2020 and the filming kicked off on 5 July 2022. Season 1 debuted on the service on 10 April 2024, a year and nine months after work on set began.
Work on season 2 may take less time, as the creators are not starting the production from scratch. If nothing stands in the way, we predict that Fallout season 2 on Prime Video could appear in the second half of 2025.
