Samsung has regained its position as the leading smartphone brand in Q1, 2024, according to the latest data from IDC. The tech major shipped 60.1 million units, marking a slight 0.7% year-over-year decrease. At the same time, Apple experienced a more significant 9.6% drop in iPhone shipments, selling 50.1 million units in the same period.Global Leaders in the Smartphone Market
According to IDC, Apple was at the top position at the end of 2023 but Samsung took back the lead in the first quarter.
