Hatsune Miku and her flowing twin pigtails are about to grace the art of some gorgeous collectible trading cards. The globally famous virtual pop star is the subject of several upcoming Secret Lair drops for Magic: The Gathering. The best part? She’s going on a year-long print-fueled tour with four Secret Lair drops in all. Polygon has a preview of the first six cards in the series, which go up for sale in May.
The vocaloid’s special card collections will drop seasonally over the course of 2024, Wizards of the Coast said in a news release. The first, a six-card set titled Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, will be part of the Spring Superdrop. Fans will be able to pre-order the collection starting May 13, 2024 starting at 9 a.
