Jimmy Fallon joked that Donald Trump needs a shock collar to stop from falling asleep during his hush money trial.
He won’t be hushed.
Jimmy Fallon took aim at Donald Trump during “The Tonight Show” host’s opening monologue on Wednesday night.
“April showers bring may flowers,” Fallon began.
“By the way, those are the two more porn stars that will testify in Trump’s hush money case. April Showers, take the stand. You know May Flowers?” he joked, referring to former porn star and director Stormy Daniels, who is at the center of the Trump’s hush money court battle.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal an alleged six figures worth of payments made to Daniels to cover up an alleged extramarital affair before the 2016 election.
Daniels, 45, became a household name in 2018 when it was reported she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and was paid $130,000 in “hush money” in 2016 to stay quiet, allegedly arranged by Trump’s then-lawyer, Michael Cohen.
Trump, who is running for a second presidential term, denied the affair happened.
