Juan Soto Injury: Yankees Manager Aaron Boone Provides Update

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided the latest update on superstar outfielder Juan Soto’s injury.
Juan Soto left Thursday’s New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins game in the top of the sixth inning with what the team called “left forearm discomfort.”
The game entered a 56-minute rain delay after five innings, and when it restarted, Soto was not in the ballgame. He was replaced by Alex Verdugo in the lineup.
Yankees fans collectively held their breath for the next hour or so, but finally, when the game ended in an 8-5 Yankees win, manager Aaron Boone was able to speak to reporters and provide an update on his injured superstar.
Boone said that Soto’s forearm has been bothering him for the last week and he’s been receiving treatment on it. During the rain delay, he was examined by the team’s medical staff, and they elected to proceed with caution and remove him from the game.
