The owner found that the dog left his marking in the bucket of paint.
A homeowner working on DIY painting updates learned his furry companion lent a helping paw but not in the way one would have hoped.
TikTok user @peekosicher took viewers through the project he was working on in a June 10 video. He was painting and touching up areas around the home, as professional painters suggest homeowners should touch up spots every five to 10 years depending on the traffic area of the house. What should’ve been a relatively easy project was ruined by one of his dogs, which saw the opportunity and went for it.
The owner left an open paint bucket outside next to the room and door he was painting. Going back and forth to grab more paint, he figured nothing could go wrong. However, his dog Ted decided to show the paint bucket who was boss.
Ted marked his territory and peed right into the bucket of paint, quickly making the owner realize the painting should’ve been done when his dog wasn’t home or at least with the bucket lid on.
