Singer Shifty Shellshock, whose addiction struggles were captured over two seasons of ‘Celebrity Rehab,’ has died.
Shifty Shellshock, the singer for the rap rock group Crazy Town and a former patient on VH1‘s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew has died.
Shellshock, whose real name was Seth Binzer, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Monday, June 24, per The Daily Beast. No cause of death has been released.
Shellshock’s struggles with addiction were featured on Celebrity Rehab, where he spoke openly about his drug use in the past. Shellshock appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of the show, which both aired in 2008, where he underwent treatment for cocaine addiction.
He subsequently appeared on two seasons of Celebrity Rehab‘s spin-off, Sober House.
Shellshock is the latest celebrity who appeared on Celebrity Rehab to have died.
