Boyfriend, 65, of woman called police, saying she had collapsed in her Tai Po flat, where burnt charcoal was later found.
Hong Kong police are investigating if foul play was involved in the death of a 61-year-old woman who died in hospital after being found unconscious in a village house.
Emergency personnel were called to San Wai Tsai Village in Tai Po at around 11.55pm on Tuesday when her boyfriend, 65, made a police report saying she had collapsed in the house.
