'Chucky' canceled at Syfy & USA after 3 seasons

‘Chucky’ has been canceled at Syfy & USA after 3 seasons.
Syfy and USA Network have given the axe to Chucky after three seasons.
The series, based on the classic horror movie franchise, will not return for Season 4. Part 2 of Season 3 of the series aired its finale on both NBCUniversal cable networks just four months ago.
The news comes despite series creator/executive producer Don Mancini‘s best efforts to keep the show going. He revealed back in April that he had pitched a fourth season, saying at the time that “it’s something I really like to do.”
Fans have shared his enthusiasm, launching a #RenewChucky campaign on social media, which has been rallying support for Season 4.
While the decision to cancel the series was disappointing for Mancini, who also created and wrote the movie franchise, he vowed that this is not the last we will see of Chucky.
“I’m heartbroken over the news that Chucky won’t be coming back for a fourth season but am so grateful for the killer three years we did have,” he said.
