The punishment is backdated to when she withdrew from the Summer Olympics, so that Dujardin will be able to resume competing in July 2025, per the BBC. The organization cited her previous clean record as a reason for a light punishment. “As the federation has recognized, my actions in the video do not reflect who I am and I can only apologize again”, Dujardin posted online.
