Microsoft has repeatedly deployed OS pop-ups to encourage Windows 10 users to upgrade to Windows 11. But it’s now sending emails that also urge users to recycle their Windows 10 PCs.
«End of support for Windows 10 is approaching», the subject line says. Inside, the message warns, «After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10.
