The massive rollout for Marvel’s « Avengers » Doomsday » cast lasted five hours, with Tom Holland’s name surprisingly left out of the list.
Marvel chose to roll out the expansive « Avengers: Doomsday » cast in a five-and-a-half-hour stream that revealed actors returning to the MCU via their casting chairs. Things kicked off with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth and ended with Robert Downey Jr.
Downey was announced to return to the MCU in a big way, as he will take on the mantle of Doctor Doom. While people have been theorizing on how this is set to come about, he is presumably going to be the next big baddie of the Marvel Universe.
Through the massive list of actors, there were some huge surprises in the form of classic « X-Men » characters like Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, and James Marsden as Cyclops.
