The Cleveland Browns quarterback room got a little more crowded on Monday after the team signed a former 14-game starter.
Four quarterbacks apparently wasn’t enough for the Cleveland Browns.
The team announced its first depth chart of training camp on Monday with Joe Flacco leading a group that also features (in order) Kenny Pickett, rookie third-round pick Dillon Gabriel and rookie fifth-rounder Shedeur Sanders.
However, there’s one player not listed on there who has the potential to shake things up. Hours after the Browns’ depth chart was released, the team signed former Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Huntley, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
«Sources: Browns are signing QB Tyler ‘Snoop’ Huntley, who spent part of last season with Cleveland», Schefter wrote on X. «With Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel nursing hamstring injuries, and Shedeur Sanders having a sore shoulder, the Browns need another arm. Enter Huntley.»
The news comes after three of the team’s QBs are set to miss varying amounts of time with differing injuries.
