Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon on Monday said he is confident that the projects he initiated at the Department of Transportation (DOTr) will not be neglected under the agency’s new leadership.
These remarks came as Dizon formally assumed his new post as head of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), replacing Manuel Bonoan, who had resigned from the position due to “command responsibility.”

“I leave with a very heavy heart, I admit it,” he said in Filipino.”
First of all, the DOTr has become very dear to me. In just the six months that I was there, it grew close to my heart because I saw the potential of a department that can truly do good for our fellow citizens,” he added.
